Police stations and service points

License Services

From 2nd April 2013, licence services only by making appointment.

Hours of operation at the police precincts’ customer service points:
- on working days 8 am – 4:15 pm

There is no photoautomat at the customer service points.

Temporary passports are issued only from the Pasila Police Station. 

The following licence issues can only be handled at the Pasila Police Station:
* replacing foreign driving licences with Finnish ones
* the first application for an invalid parking licence must be submitted at the Pasila Police Station; later, it can be submitted at other stations as well, but Pasila is still recommended.
* lottery licence
* collection licence

When ready, all documents can be delivered for pick-up to the licence service point of the customer's choice.

Welcome to time reservation
Only one person for one reservation!
One reservation is only for one person. If you need reservation for more people, then make own reservation for every person.

Contact information

Non-Finnish citizens' licence applications must be submitted to and picked up from the Immigration Police at Pasila Police Station or at Malmi Police Station. Identity card applications are an exception: foreigners can submit them at any Police Service point and pick up their cards from the service point of their choice.

E-Services for immigration affairs

Terms of service in the Immigration Police change.
Queue numbers will be given on Mon – Fri until 2 pm,  if it appears that there are more clients than we can serve during that particular day.

When the queue number machine is closed, contact the doormen in the hall. They make appointments with the client service for the following workday. If you don't come at the given time, your time will be given to the next person in an appointment list / holder of the next queue number
