Helsinki Police Department will handle licence matters by appointment only
From 2nd April 2013, Helsinki Police Department will handle licence matters by appointment only. The arrangement applies to both Finnish and foreign licence matters (driving licences, passports, identity cards with a photo, and permits and licences for firearms). For making an appointment, use the service available at the website of the Finnish Police.
The arrangement is already in use at Malmi and Itäkeskus customer service points and will now also be introduced to the customer service point at Pasila Police Building 2 and the service point for firearms licences (Pasilanraitio 11).
If you do not have the equipment for making the appointment, you can make the appointment at the foyer of Pasila Police Building 2 where necessary equipment is available for the public. You can also make the appointment by calling 071 87 73168 (between 12 noon and 4 p.m.). Please note that this number is only for making appointments for licence matters and not for enquiries.
