Accounts on small lotteriesThe accounts on a small lottery must be rendered without delay after the end of the event. Accounts are not, however, needed if the tickets have been sold only among persons belonging to the organization running the lottery. The accounts of a small lottery must include
The organizer of the lottery must keep the accounts on public display for two weeks after the accounts have been completed. The accounts must be kept as prescribed in the Accounting Act (1336/1997). If the small lottery is organized by a school class or equivalent study group, an adult responsible for running the lottery is responsible for keeping the accounts on display.
