The location for people fleeing the war in Ukraine to register their application for temporary protection will change in Helsinki after the Midsummer weekend. The registration of applications for temporary protection will end in West Harbour on 26 June 2022.
Applications will be processed from 27 June 2022 at the Helsinki Police Department in Pasila, in the on-call unit in police building 1. Address: Pasilanraitio 13, Helsinki: Police contact details for asylum seekers - Police (poliisi.fi).
“The Police Department will accept applicants for temporary protection based on pre-booked appointments, and we recommend that applicants bring their passport photo or the code provided by the photographer with them when coming to complete their application,” says Janne Lepsu, Chief Inspector at the Helsinki Police Department.
The Police Department provides people fleeing the war with information on the changes in application registrations at West Harbour.

– Поліція приймає прохачів тимчасового захисту за записом та рекомендує, щоб прохачі тимчасового захисту мали при подачі заяви у себе паспортну фотографію та код, який надається при фотографуванні, каже інспектор Янне Лепсу з Поліції м. Гельсінкі.
Поліція буде надавати у Західному порту інформацію про зміну в процедурі подавання заяв про прибулі особи, які втікають перед війною.
