There is a considerable backlog of our passport and identity card services because of the hugely increased demand.  You may visit any police station in Finland (note that the Helsinki-Vantaa Airport service point is only for the handling of urgent air passengers' passports). Please note that if you have not made an appointment, you may have to queue for a long time. Check the services and queuing policies of police stations on their websites.
