1.3.2024 | Police education produces the skills needed in working life, and those who have completed their education enjoy long careers. The study on the state of police education published on 29 February 2024 shows that there is room for improvement, for example, in the onerous selection process for admission to study for the degree of Bachelor of Police Studies.

10.4.2024 | Participants in continuing education for police revealed serious traffic violations

27.8.2025 | Police University College is to take part in the Finnish Defence Forces’ local defense exercise on September 1–4, 2025. During the week, the personnel and equipment involved in the exercise may be seen on roads in the area.

4.6.2025 | National Police Commissioner Ilkka Koskimäki received the new police officers’ ethical oath at the Police University College on Wednesday 4 June 2025. In his speech, Ilkka Koskimäki highlighted the safety and security of schools. The police support the security work carried out in educational institutions. However, the security of schools is a more extensive issue, and not a matter for the police alone.
