23.7.2025 | Seizures of the highly dangerous narcotic alpha-PVP (alpha-pyrrolidine valerophenone) have increased significantly in Finland. According to the Forensic Laboratory of the National Bureau of Investigation, more than eight kilograms of alpha-PVP, also known by the street name “peukku” in Finnish, has been seized this year, while the amount was less than 500 grams during the whole of 2020, for example.

4.2.2021 | Centralkriminalpolisen, Polisinrättningen i Helsingfors, Polisinrättningen i Tavastland, Polisinrättningen i Sydöstra Finland och Polisinrättningen i Österbotten har utrett införsel, försäljning och förmedling av narkotika mellan juni 2018 och maj 2020. Verksamheten leddes från Nederländerna. Sammanlagt utreddes 17 fall av införsel av narkotika, beträffade dem misstänkts grova narkotikabrott.
