11.10.2021 | The Elokapina Extinction Rebellion movement held a demonstration outside of the Government Palace in Helsinki on 8 October. Both the demonstration and the police operation attracted plenty of media attention. The National Police Board has followed the discussion about the matter and on its own initiative has decided to take it up as an internal oversight legality safeguards matter.
