Lapin käräjäoikeus on tänään poliisin esityksestä vanginnut Enontekiön henkirikoksesta epäillyn miehen. 36-vuotiaan Tsekin kansalaisen epäillään tappaneen 26-vuotiaan, pitkäaikaisen avopuolisonsa lauantaina. Uhri on Skotlannin kansalainen. Rikosta tutkitaan murhana.
Poliisi on alkuviikon aikana päässyt kuulustelemaan epäiltyä. Epäilty on ollut yhteistyökykyinen, mutta ei ole esittänyt epäillylle teolle erityistä motiivia. Poliisi jatkaa tapauksen tutkintaa muun muassa todistajien kuulusteluilla ja teknisellä tutkinnalla.

Lapland District Court has today imprisoned the suspect of the Enontekiö homicide, according to the claim of the Lapland Police Department criminal police. A 36-year old Czech citizen is suspected of killing his 26-year old long-term partner. The victim is a female citizen of Scotland. The crime is investigated as a murder.
Police has been able to hear the suspect earlier this week. The suspect has been cooperative, but hasn´t been able to clarify a specific motif for his suspected act. Police will continue the investigations by hearing the witnesses and the suspect, and by conducting technical investigations.
At this point of the investigation Police doesn't have more to report about the case.
