Scam calls in the name of the police have been detected in both Finnish and English.
The police, banks, or any other legitimate entity will not ask for your bank details or ask you to transfer your funds to a secure account.
If you receive a call that you suspect is a scam, never give the caller any of your personal information. End the call immediately.
If you suspect that you have given your bank details to a scammer, contact your bank immediately. File a police report as soon as possible.
