The National Police Museum will introduce new telephone numbers on Thursday 13 March 2014 after the office hours. The process of changing the numbers will start after 4.15 p.m., and the new numbers will be operational on Friday 14 March 2014.

The new number of the Police Museum will be +358 295 418 325.

The initial digits of the staff's direct numbers will also be (0)295. While the mobile numbers will not change, the initial digits (0)295 will be displayed to the recipient as the caller's number for calls made or texts sent from the Museum's mobile telephones.

After the introduction of the new numbers, calls to the old numbers with the initial digits (0)71 will be directed to a message inbox that informs the caller of the new exchange number of the Police Museum.

The callers will incur no extra costs for calls to the (0)295 numbers: the local network, mobile network or text message charge will be shown in the phone bill based on the caller's contract with their operator.

The change of telephone numbers is part of the reform of the government's telephone system. Government agencies and departments will phase in the new, consistent telephone number system of the government.
