Fees and processing times

Most of the services of the police are free of charge to the customers. Maintaining public order and safety and pre-trial investigations of the offences are financed by public funds. 

Most licence applications and notifications processed by the police (such as passports and identity cards) are, however, subject to charge. The fees are determined annually in a Decree issued by the Ministry of the Interior.
