Ostrobothnia Police Department
We provide services in the regions of Ostrobothnia, Southern Ostrobothnia and Central Ostrobothnia. Our area of operation extends from Kristiinankaupunki to Kokkola on the western coast and from Alavus to Kannus in the east. There are about 443,000 inhabitants in the area covered by our police department. We are a bilingual police department, as both Finnish and Swedish are generally spoken in the area.
