On Monday 28 March 2022, the Eastern Finland Police Department introduces a regional service helpline and email for those who apply for international protection – temporary protection and asylum – in Eastern Finland. Through the helpline and email, the Police will obtain the necessary information to organise the receiving of the respective applications.
Due to the situation in Ukraine, the Eastern Finland Police Department introduces a specific helpline and email address for the applicants of international protection and for those who work with the applicants or assist them in other ways. Through the helpline and email, the Police receives the customer information for the purpose of filing an application for international protection. Based on the information, the Police will organise the receiving of the application at the closest regional centre which are the Mikkeli, Kuopio or Joensuu Police Stations.
Starting from Monday 28 March 2022, the helpline is open from Monday to Friday from 9 to 15. The requests for information related to the receiving of customer protection applications will be directed centrally to the international protection helpline 0295 455 380 or the email address: kv-suojelu.ita-suomi@poliisi.fi.
The Police will provide service in Finnish and English to those contacting us through the helpline and/or email.
In order to speed up the application process, we would like to ask those working with the applicants of international protection or other persons assisting them to contact the Police through the helpline or email before coming to the Police Station in person.
Поліція Східної Фінляндії відкриває телефон допомоги та електронну пошту для прохачів міжнародного захисту у Східнії Фінляндії
У понеділок 28.3.2022 Поліція Східної Фінляндії введе в дію телефон та електронну пошту допомоги для прохачів міжнародного захисту, тобто тимчасового захису та притулку, в області Східної Фінляндії. За номером та е-поштою можна передати поліції інформацію потрібну для організації прийому заяви.
Через ситуацію в Україні Поліція Східної Фінляндії відкриває окремий телефон допомоги та електронну пошту для прохачів міжнародного захисту, людям які з ними працюють та для інших допомагачів. За номером та е-поштою можна передати поліції інформацію для подачи заяви про міжнародний захист. На основі інформації поліція влаштовує прийом заяви на найближчій регіональній станції, тобто на поліційнії станції Міккелі, Куопіо чи Йоенсуу.
Телефон допомоги працює з понеділка до п’ятниці від 9 до 15 години починаючи від понеділка 28.3.2022 р.

За номером та е-поштою поліція обслуговує фінською та англійською мовою.
Просимо, аби люди, які працюють з прохачами міжнародного захисту та інші допомагачі звертались до поліції за номером допомоги чи е-поштою перш ніж відвідати поліційну станцію з метою пришвидшення розгляду заяв.
