19-22 May 2026, Helsinki, Finland
The Capital Policing Europe conference has a long-standing tradition in promoting information exchange and international law enforcement cooperation. Since 1979, this esteemed annual event has brought together representatives of police organizations from across Europe to share insights, strategies, and best practices aimed at enhancing law enforcement both within Europe and beyond. The conference also provides an excellent opportunity for professional networking and for building long-term cooperation and collegial relationships.
The programme of the 46th CPE Conference will focus on three main themes identified as priorities by the participating countries:
- Cybercrime
- Weapon violence and law enforcement coordination
- Drug-related crime and narco-terrorism
The conference offers a unique platform for sharing expertise. We invited your views on the main themes already at the end of 2025, and the programme has been designed so that each topic area will begin with introductory perspectives, followed by a joint panel discussion. We warmly encourage as many participants as possible to contribute their knowledge and experience to our common discussions.
The ongoing war in Ukraine continues to affect the European security environment. During the meeting, we will hear an up-to-date briefing from the Chief of Police of Kyiv and, together, reflect on strengthening security and preparedness at all levels of our states and organizations.
Please note, that the official language of the conference is English. Should you require interpretation assistance, please arrange your own interpreter.
