A woman fell from a balcony on Hietalahdenkatu in Helsinki shortly after 6 p.m. on Wednesday, 17 September 2025, and died.
The circumstances are still being established, and a criminal offence has not been ruled out.
Depending on the findings, the case will proceed either as a death investigation or as a suspected homicide. The police will issue an update when there is verified new information.
