A woman fell from a balcony on Hietalahdenkatu in Helsinki shortly after 6 p.m. on Wednesday, 17 September 2025, and died.
"There is reason to suspect homicide in this case, and the police have therefore arrested a man on suspicion of the crime. To protect the investigation, the police cannot disclose any further information at this time," said Detective Inspector Juha Piippo.
The police will provide further information on Monday.
