Sanna Palo of the National Bureau of Investigation appointed to a major position at Interpol

At the 85th Interpol General Assembly in Bali, Doctor of Laws Sanna Palo, Detective Chief Superintendent of the National Bureau of Investigation, was appointed to the CCF, Commission for the Control of Interpol's Files’ division responsible for appeals, for the term of office beginning on 11 March 2017.

The Commission’s duties include investigating and resolving requests by private individuals regarding the processing of matters at Interpol.

The CCF makes binding decisions on rectifying or deleting information entered by Member States in Interpol’s information systems. In addition to Finland, representatives of Angola, Argentina, Moldova and Russia were appointed to the same CCF division while representatives of Algeria and France were appointed to the Supervisory and Advisory division.

Detective Chief Superintendent Palo will continue in her position as Head of the Criminal Intelligence Division of the National Bureau of Investigation. CCF convenes four times per year at the Interpol headquarters in Lyon, France.
