The Ostrobothnia Police Department continues active criminal investigation regarding the missing family. No significant breakthroughs have been made so far, but the investigation is progressing as planned.
A European Arrest Warrant (EAW) has now been issued. This enables intensified cooperation between authorities and search efforts outside of Finland as well.
The police keep on receiving daily tips about the family’s possible whereabouts.
– Each tip is carefully reviewed and assessed for its relevance. We continue to encourage the public to share any information that could assist in locating the family, says Tony Rauma the investigator in charge from the Ostrobothnia Police Department.
