Federal President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier will pay a working visit to Finland on Thursday 7 May 2026. The president will be accompanied by his spouse, Elke Büdenbender. The visit will be hosted by President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb.
The police will be responsible for the security and traffic arrangements related to the visit.
The visit may cause brief traffic disruptions in the centre of Helsinki. The police will direct traffic as needed.
