The licence services of the Joensuu police station are located in the court and police building in Pekkala. You can apply for a passport, identity card, and other permits from us. We handle lost property and take care of matters related to firearm licenses. We mainly serve by appointment. The licence services are accessed through a security check. The licence services are served by appointment from 8 a.m. and by shift number from 9 a.m. Those who have booked an appointment are called by name from the waiting area without separate registration. The shift number machine works from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. There is a separate entrance to the weapons inspection about 30 meters before the main entrance. The weapon inspection is open on Thursdays and you cannot make an appointment there. Found goods/info is open for visiting customers from 9 am to 12 pm and from 1 pm to 4 pm. Phone hours are 10 am to 12 pm.
