Kuopio Main Police Station, police matters
Kuopio Main Police Station is service point of local police.
The Main Police Station is entered through a security check. You can take your shift number for the police on duty right after the security check. The police on duty accepts crime reports. We recommend filing crime reports online. You can also get advice and instructions from the police on duty. From 10 March to 31 May 2025, applications for temporary protection will be accepted on Mondays and Thursdays from 8am to 3pm. Customers should make an appointment before they come to the police station. This can be done by email to kv-suojelu.ita-suomi@poliisi.fi. The police on duty can be reached by phone when it is possible due to other work duties.
