Our workforce also includes experts in fields such as law, economics, information technology, human resources and administration, as well as communications. We also offer opportunities for university interns.

Our operational area extends from the Gulf of Bothnia to Finland’s eastern border. The majority of our personnel work in the Oulu region, where our main police station is also located. There are police stations in the Jokilaaksot area, Kainuu and Koillismaa.

Our extensive operational area enables a wide variety of duties in cities, rural environments and tourist destinations alike. Kainuu and Northern Ostrobothnia offer excellent opportunities for leisure activities in nature and sports, as well as cultural experiences. You can spend your free time by the sea, on the shores of lakes and rivers, or in the inland hills and fells.
