The annual "112 day" is a nationwide event that highlights the importance of everyday safety. In Finland, the theme day has been celebrated since 1997.

Western Uusimaa Police Department will take part in the event at Sello shopping center in Espoo on February 11th from 11am to 3pm. We will meet you at Sellonaukio square to talk about safety and to introduce you to how the police works and what equipment we use. This year, the quickest will also be able to take home our new police cards.

On 112 day, one can take time to think about how to prevent accidents and notice risky situations in their own everyday life. Are you taking responsibility for your own safety and that of your loved ones? Along with the police, these themes will be discussed at the event by Western Uusimaa Rescue Service, the Social and Crisis Emergency Service, the rescue service dog association Pelastuskoirayhdistys and the mental health organization Mieli ry.

The event is free of charge and everyone is welcome to join. See you at the Sello shopping centre!
