Police want to remind about rules concerning the flying of drones and the restrictions around the Market Square

On Monday, the Helsinki Police Department issued a bulletin concerning prohibited areas that apply to flying drones during the visit of the President of the United States. The police have now had to interrupt unauthorized drone flying.

Many people have been imposed a fine for flying a drone in a prohibited area.

The police ask to mind the rules concerning of the flying of drones. Police will interrupt all unauthorized drone flying. The drone can be confiscated, if it is used in unauthorized flying.

The police also want to remind, that the Market Square area is restricted today starting from 10 a.m.

There are traffic arrangements in the centre of Helsinki. The police have communicated about these arrangements earlier. The city residents should prepare for interruptions to traffic during the day. The police want to thank citizens for their cooperation and understanding.
