Use the wide range of police e-services

Restricted opening hours in summer 2024 apply to Lohja, Kirkkonummi and Raasepori police stations. Normal opening hours continue to apply to customer service at Espoo Main Police Station.

”We encourage customers to foresee the renewal of their own document in good time. In licence services, we recommend trying to book an appointment in advance. Customers can of course, also visit a police station, but should be prepared to queue, especially at Espoo Main Police Station. At the same time, we would like to remind people that they can deal with licence matters in any locality. Police reports can also be made at any police station,” says Piia Näsänen, Head of Licence Services.

Even though people have to queue at police stations from time to time, they can receive their ID card and passport within the normal delivery time, i.e. within eight working days, after making their order.

Most applications to the police can be made online. The newest e-service is firearms licence applications. Police e-services will notify the customer if they need to visit a unit in person. E-services will be available throughout the summer as usual.
