The Eastern Finland Police Department operates in the regions of South Savo, North Karelia and North Savo.

The task of the police department in our area is to:

Our operating area is the third largest in Finland, and our diverse tasks can be located in the regions of South Savo, North Karelia and North Savo.

Our main police station is located in Kuopio and the other 14 police stations are located around our operating area. Here you can enjoy the varied countryside, beautiful lake nature and the bustle of the city.
