Educational visits and open days

The National Police Board’s staff can be invited to talk about police work at schools, nurseries, parents’ evenings, trade fairs and other similar events. Engaging in this kind of cooperation with schools and youth clubs is especially important. 

If you would like to have a police officer visit or speak at your event, please email the registry of your local police department or use the feedback form on our website. You can also contact the relevant police unit by telephone and ask to be put through to Communications.

Please note that the police does not, as a rule, host open days for the general public due to procedural rules and security considerations as well as the current coronavirus pandemic. Visitors are only admitted to the public areas of police stations.
