According to a study by the Finnish police, a significant number of young people aged 15 to 25 estimate that they have committed a cybercriminal act in the past year. In terms of the Finnish population, as many as 28.000 young people may commit cybercrime each year.

The Finnish police managed to meet the expectations and requirements set for the police efficiently and productively during 2025. As an example, in emergency response assignments the police arrived at the scene in 9.5 minutes, which was clearly below the target time. At the same time, the number of assignments has increased significantly.
