4.3.2022 | The need for help and assistance in Ukraine is immense and constantly growing. In Finland, there is a strong sense of solidarity with Ukraine, and this manifests in a pronounced need to provide help to the Ukrainians who suffer and are in distress. There are many ways of providing help, and one way is to donate money to humanitarian relief work.

3.5.2022 | The number of residence permit applications as consequence of the situation in Ukraine has started to decline. Some applicants have replaced the original asylum application with an application for temporary protection.

23.3.2022 | In March, more than 800 applications for asylum or temporary protection have been submitted to Western Uusimaa Police Department. Of the applicants, the majority are adult women and children under 18 years of age.
