The Helsinki Police Department is present at the National Defence Training Association of Finland's (MPK) Security Day event at Rautatientori in Helsinki between 26 and 27 May. The police have a permit services identification vehicle on site where people can give their fingerprint for a travel document if they have completed the application online in advance.

Various security authorities will gather for a traditional security event at Rautatientori on Friday and Saturday. In addition to the permit services vehicle, the police will have other equipment on display at the event, such as an ATV. Mounted police will also visit the event on both days.

“We have a permit services identification vehicle at the site where people can leave their fingerprint for a travel document, i.e. a passport or an identity card. They must first submit and pay the application online in order to identify themselves in the event at Rautatientori,” says Chief Inspector Satu Mäkinen.
